So my husband spent a really long time in school pursuing this and that degree, settling on secondary ed. which required a couple more years on top of the several he already completed. I looked at the courses he had completed and was like, 'dude, you are like 3 classes away from a psych degree' and encouraged him to just get the psych degree and be done.
In retrospect, I probably should have kept my mouth shut because a psych degree is like a degree in nothing. You can get entry level jobs at like DHS and other places that don't pay well.
So, I guess what I am saying is make sure you take into consideration your ability to get a job in the field and what types of jobs and if those are the ones you want.
