I go with ex/bff to all her appointments. The info is often overwhelming and sometimes emotionally difficult and can require me knowing things for the future that I would not clearly hear about if getting it third hand.

I, on the other hand, do not want anyone going with me to any appointment with anyone for any reason. I find another person too much to handle when trying to process information.
