At my old house, my bathroom was my safe place (although it was also where I kept my knife). It was a big bathroom with a big round tub, and plenty of space, and cupboards where I had some of my stuff - papers, books, chocolate, etc. And there was a built-in vanity desk, and I liked to sit in the space under the desk. I don't have a place like that here. Under my desk at work is sometimes tempting, but I don't dare sit under my desk there. I have a client who likes to sit there though. My back deck can be a nice place, with the big trees around it, and view of the animals in the pasture. It's just not very private.
