Hadn't ever heard of it before. There's a website cbasp.org you can check out. I'd like to learn more; the little I red on that site has me intrigued. It refers to patients "inappropriate behavior" in session and corrective measures for that as well as approaches to engender a more empathetic response (I think) from the patient towards the therapist. Frankly it's a little confusing; it makes the patients (which would be me as I have chronic major depression) sound difficult. More like they have a personality disorder (like BPD).

The site has a resource for locating CBASP providers. It's not a long list.

I hope others chime in.
