Atarax started working almost immediately for me! Sure I'm still going through the side affect of drowsiness but you get over it. Definitely work, but from what I've read you can't take it with a lot of other things which is kind of a bummer, but since I am almost drug free (prescription pills that is) I still can drink it without a problem. Ask your psychiatrist he would know the best
