I think meds that are keeping you stable is an easier choice. weight gain only affects the body but anxiety can ruin our whole lives. In any case before adjusting or stopping meds your pdoc who prescribed is the one to talk to. Some meds need to be tapered to safely get off them.
You could also ask your pdoc if there are other meds that could keep you stable and not have as much weight gain problem.
I find if I stick to a high protein low carb diet my doctor recommended it helps me keep from taking on lots of weight. Daily exercise and yoga helps too.
