Hi. I've not posted here in a bit. No reason. I feel so out of sorts!
Last week I went to my trail. When I go, I put my earphones in my ears and basically "go away" and it's so nice. Last week I went and as I was coming through the woods I looked down and I had straddled a snake. [emoji15][emoji15]. I froze and panicked at the same time. The poor snake was frozen too because in my state of mind I jumped over it and looked at it. It wasn't moving. Just staring straight ahead. It wasn't a poisonous one... but!! It was a snake and I almost stepped on it.
It's been kind of like they getting thrown off a horse thing. I wanted to go back but didn't because I was afraid. I went back today. Scanning. Watching. It was hard to keep myself there to watch because I go away there. It was work and felt like it took forever.
Coming back through the woods was ok. Then!! Then right out in the open, a snake jumps up in the air and runs away from my path!! Yikes!! How in the #ell does a snake jump??? They have no legs!! How is that possible??
Are snakes going to be worse this summer because we didn't have a had winter here? Just curious.
