My parents were theists and I at best agnostic if not fully atheist. We just did not /do not talk about it and if they brought up praying or something like it, I just ignored it. I don't think one is going to change a parent who believes something like that and they are one's
parents so there is a difference, to me, in them and anyone else (with whom I would be a bit more vigorous in my don't put your religion on me stance)
