Family inside by Doris Bryant. it was published in 1992 so read with a bit understanding that in 2013 america changed over to a new standard of what is and isnt dissociative type alters, DID,, Diagnostics, tests and such. my point much of what you find in the book may not apply now for what treatment providers have to go by today under the present standards\rules\ ethics and such. though you may find some of the book helpful dont be surprised if its vastly different than what treatment providers tell you now.

my rule of thumb when looking for reading materials on any mental disorders where i want factual and up to date material that wont conflict with my own treatment providers and treatment plans used today is look at publishing dates from 2013 to present.
