LL's 18 year old self: Don't buy yourself a pack of cigarettes just because you just turned 18...it will be a terrible decision that includes constant nagging from Mom about how horrible you smell, the lengthy series of dentist appointments to fix the gingivitis caused by smoking, the bronchitis you'll have whenever you get a cold caused by smoking, you'll be spending well over $120 a month that could have gone to a new car or trip to Paris, and you'll be craving it for the rest of your life....but here is one thing I have learned...I can CHOOSE not to smoke cigarettes!
