I used to work for a government contractor... There were so many rules, and you had to work excessive hours. Even worse, you were poorly compensated for the amount of work you had to put in. The company really overworked its employees.
I just couldn't cope with having to leave the house at 8am and come back at 7pm. I had no personal life. That's mainly why I quit after 5 months on the job.

Exactly, my last job I was a government contractor. In DC there are the federal employees versus the contractors, and of course the contractors got the short end of the stick while the feds could do whatever they wanted. But the job I had before I would bust my *** and I got paid peanuts. However I stayed there four years because it was an okay job to have while I was in school.
