Hey friends. Newish member here. I've been into dreams for a really long time - maybe about 9 years now (I am currently 23). I had a lucid dream several years ago that came way out of the blue and it blew my mind! It sparked my interest in dream journaling and interpretation. So last night I had a pretty interesting one.
I was lying in my bed (awake) listening to a "sleep hypnosis for good dreams" video on youtube. I focused on relaxing my body and after some time I felt kind of numb, but I was still conscious. Then I noticed my arms rising upward, like a zombie or something, even though I felt paralyzed. Next thing I knew, I was in a hallway. Like a hotel sort of hallway with maroon walls and greyish carpet, and an elevator at the end. I didn't know exactly what was going on but I figured I could try to levitate, so I did. And I began floating through the hall toward the elevator door, and when I opened it (manually as there was no button), there was another door immediately behind it. And then another, and another, as if there were infinite doors. I turned around confused, and noticed a mirror on the hallway wall. I floated towards the mirror and when I saw my reflection, my eyes were closed.
That's all I really remember. I think it might have something to do with me feeling trapped in life.. Like I'm stuck in this hallway and there's some way out that I'm not seeing, hence the closed eyes? I dunno. Weird eh?
