Maybe keep working through different drugs with your doctor. Everyone reacts so differently to different drugs. I think with me my brain was fighting the sleep meds I was working my way through. I think the reason the sleepy anti histamine works so well is that it doesn't feel like it's trying to take over. .....and I love that feel of falling asleep "naturally"....(the day will one day come when I can rest while I sleep without intervention).

My only other meds are hormones to keep multiple crazy crazy mood swings all happening in a single day, and citalopram to keep my over reactions to situations to a minimum.

Is it the same nightmare you have or do they vary?
