Straight in a relationship with my partner for 11 years, though we've never married. I was diagnosed right after our 9th anniversary. I have long thought if we separated (we have been living apart too for the past 2.5 yrs) that I would not want to date new people knowing I was bipolar and would have to tell them. He's been supportive though and I think he likely suffers from unipolar depression that he doesn't really treat so it's not like he doesn't understand any of it.
