Yes, when I was in college, I only had access to my therapist during the school year because I went home in the summers. Generally, I just went without and he was available to call if I needed to. One time I went home on a leave of absence for a bit over 6 months. That time I did set up with a therapist, but after seeing that therapist a few times I opted to go without; she was not right for me at the time.
