Does anyone else here feel that therapy provides them emotional nourishment, emotional sustenance?
I've been with my current T for over 5 years, and we've really processed a lot of the past trauma stuff. I go now mostly to deal with day to day stuff and eating disorder recovery maintenance.
After I leave my sessions, most of the time, I leave with a feeling of being very loved and protected, and that feeling stays with me, and almost "nourishes me" throughout the week.
Can anyone else relate? Is this a good enough reasons to continue to go to therapy?
