Be patient and kind to yourself, acknowledge that the process may take some time and also some ammendments. The symptoms of some dx can blend in with other dx so the initial assessments might not be bang on the money at first (that's not to say it never happens... I guess I'm just a 'prepare for the worse, hope for the best' kind of guy).
Recently after a fair bit of trial/error and specialist assessment received my dx of ASD... was a long road (keep being told by my care team that my issues 'are complicated'

) but I got to the end of the journey.
I know how this might add to anxiety (hasn't always helped with mine), but sometimes being forewarned in forearmed.
