Hi everyone

I was diagnosed as bipolar II about 3 years ago by 1 doctor. I recently did an MMPI test for a second opinion and it came up negative for bipolar disorder.

I've been taking Lamictal and Latuda, and Latuda hasn't been working for me. I can't tell if Lamictal is working because I just titrated up to 200mg about 4 days ago. I wonder if I truly do have bipolar affective disorder or if it was a misdiagnosis.

How accurate is the MMPI?

I sort of want to start from scratch. No mood stabilizer, no antidepressants, no antipsychotics. Take all those medications away. Then I want to start a different antidepressant like Effexor and see if it makes me manic.

I know intentionally inducing mania is bad, but I want to figure out which medications work for me and which ones don't. :|
