I truly applaud your courage & perseverance

I agree Mrsjoggers that making change slowly is the best more sustainable way. I was addicted before to potato chips & coca cola, then I took a resolution on my birthday to stop them. And I don't buy them anymore, except occasionally (you can pamper yourself occasionally, no problem). I substitute potato chips with seeds, & coca cola with juice (though sadly, I still drink commercial bottled juice - which contains unnatural preservatives -, but I can't find time to make home juice.
By the way, I also recommend you try to eat Arabian dates on breakfast. It's an extremely healthy energy-filled food, that Arab culture gives much health credit too. Do you know that God has told Mariam (the mother of Jesus), after she gave birth to Jesus & was extremely exhausted to shake the nearby palm & eat its dates to get back her health & energy?
And you can substitute sugar with honey.
But also, I noticed you say that you stopped taking Caffeine, why is coffee bad for health? Probably stopping Caffeine is affecting your mood & making you depressed, so you probably should ask the doctor about how to adapt to caffeine reduction/withdrawal...
