It is an opinion based on my own research in medical journals, what several of my physicians told me, and other physicians that I have come in contact with have recommended or instructed to their patients. Unless there are contraindications that it needs to be stopped or it is then found not to be helpful as it is not the right medication of the symptom or being used to treat for, it takes time to show its effectiveness as it is not a fast acting medication. It may not be the right medication to treat what it is needed for, but one day and one dose is typically not recommended to judge effectiveness.
Talk to your doctor, let them know what happened, and see what they recommend. Also do your own research. I do hope you find something that helps soon.
