That does sound scary. I'm relieved you're still here, through whatever "temporary" means necessary. Even "impulsive hopeless causes " need the care and attention from er staff.....even if s/he is resisting help.

For sure there just aren't enough beds at crises centers around the globe. We have the same problem here. To me that seems mad. Wouldn't it be smarter to have the ambulance at the top of the cliff as well as the bottom? Sigh.

Yikes, going blind on top of all that your friend is going through is a huge adjustment.

Have her "crazy roommates" seen or heard from her? Maybe she is safely in hospital. I do hope so, so that you can ease your worry. X
