Are all suicide support groups the same? I went to a suicide anonymous (SA) group once & it was treated just like an addiction group. I have real struggles with strong suicidal thoughts, but I am not "addicted". I don't believe you can become addicted to it, because once you pull it off successfully there is no doing it again. The first 45 minutes was reading a preprinted script that sounded like it came from an AA group. This was the only group that met on the weekends in my area. Everything else always met at night during the week. We'll I work nights Monday - Friday. I just want to be able to talk to other people that know what it is like to struggle with suicidal thoughts. Not some person who has read in a book that says suicide is this way....
