I don't think putting yourself down is the answer. I think these men are just making small talk and you're jumping to conclusions by saying "oh they're just trying to sleep with me". Well some people out there aren't exactly sex obsessed and truly just want to chat with a stranger and possibly make them smile. I make a lot of small chat especially in check out lines and I definitely don't have any bad/dirty intentions.
