I think it's important to honor good moms even though it points out the bad situations (either bad moms or thoughtless kids). That's just something that is a by-product of things like this but it doesn't mean that the good situations shouldn't be honored.

I lost my phone several weeks ago & haven't been able to find it or get another one set up at the phone company. My daughter only does texting & without a phone, didn't hear from her. She used to send flowers but ended up spending money she didn't have. I told her it would be more of a gift to me for her to not get deeper into debt trying to buy things. She lives 1/2way across the country from me & neither of us have money to spend on travel or things though I have a box of things to send from all the holidays this year I haven't had a chance to get sent off either. I know she cares & loves me & she knows I care & love her with out the THINGS to show it. That's just the season of life we are in right now.
