Hello black-roses: Well... I don't know how much hair-pulling you do. But it is possible to do it so much that you develop bald patches on your head... places where hair simply will no longer grow. It's not dangerous. But it certainly can-&-does cause individuals it happens to quite a bit of emotional distress. So, yes, I would certainly encourage you to talk with your psychologist about it. This kind of thing can become more of a compulsion over time. So it would certainly be best if you could nip-it-in-the-bud, as the saying goes.
