I have a peace lily from my aunt's funeral back in 2008. Because I wasn't able to keep any plants from my mom's funeral in '05, I like to think that this plant is my way of keeping both of their memories alive.
I have gotten in the habit of dumping out the soil and putting in new potting soil around this same time each year, and as such I know that the plant goes into "shock" for a time as it adjusts to the move. Can anyone tell me how long this usually lasts? I'm probably being overanxious but though the stalks are standing up well, the leaves still droop. Granted it's only been 5-6 hours. I may have poured a little too much water in at first as well because some of it leaked into the little drain rim or whatever it's called. I did make sure to keep it out of the sunlight since I know they don't like a lot of sun.
Any thoughts? Would it help if I posted a picture?
