I have a first time appointment with a new therapist coming up soon. In the past, the few therapists I have seen haven't been helpful with my issues. I am looking for someone to discuss my relationship issues with and to give me their input/advice. I have learned to try to be content with who I am in general except for the social aspects. I have learned to accept my differences and faults. I have no interest in taking medication and/ or changing who I am. I really just need someone to talk to. Since I don't have a close friend I thought a therapist might be an option. What are your thoughts/ experiences?
