My husband gets depressed and distant when I'm manic. Which is hard because I try to talk his ear off. My husband is extremely kind to me when I'm depressed. There are many very personal things which have had an effect on our marriage. Some BP related, some not. In spite and sometimes because of bipolar, I feel we share a very good relationship and marriage. Statistics may show 90% fail rate, but 10% of the people defy the odds. Why not assume you'll be one of the minority?

Your boyfriend should be more supportive of you and your illness and I hope you begin to see your worth. You are worthy of being loved. Why would you not date yourself?
Thanks for this!
