I'm sorry to hear about that. Look, a lot of people don't get it. They don't understand because they either haven't been through it or don't want to face the fact that they have/are. You didn't need someone that flakey in you life, anyway. As much as it hurts, maybe you're better off. You lose a lot of "friends" on the road to recovery. I've personally lost several but it gets better. You'll see at the end, when all the dust settles, who your real friends are. When you do, never let them go.
