You won't know if your stories are good unless you write one down and share it out with a few people. I have a friend who wrote a book -- gave me a copy of the file -- and it's excellent, but he's never done a thing about getting it published. See what I mean? He's done the hard part but can't face rejection -- and while you hate yourself you might not be able to face your creativity with the right mindset to get stuff done and out there.
