If there is anything remarkable that might be related to use of hydroxytryptophan, I will post it here. Only sporadically.
After day 1 (150 mg dose in the evening), it doesn't have a positive effect on my mood (mostly depressed; maybe a negative effect), but it may have had an effect on my self-harming urges: I didn't have any (which is exceptional).

Mania kills cells. Brain cells die. Memories become more reduced conceptually, making more efficient use of limited means. Memories shape our reality. Our memories are more or less split in two by abstractions, conceptual reductions. Mood states with memories, concepts, attached. Memories of pain and those of joy. It causes instability, changeability. Fearing that will leave an emptiness between pain and joy and a greater divide.
