This may contradict past things i've said on here because i find myself having to rely on the lesser of two evils sometimes, but ultimately weed doesn't help anything for probabaly 90~% of people. I have problems with drugs myself and i've rationalized drug use in every possible way. I monitored my mood changes and overall life with and without all sorts of drugs, mainly marijuana and/or opiates. Weed may relax you while high, but just like tobacco it puts you more on edge and unstable when you're not high. It also messes with REM sleep, and we all know sleep is very important for BP. Now i'm not saying mj should be illegal and is a terrible drug, infact it annoys me when people that are addicted to weed try telling me that it's as bad as heroin, crack, or meth... OR even mention it in the same sentence lol... I do know that it negatively affects me and everyone in some way, especially with daily use. I don't mean to come off condescending or rude because i'm farrrr from perfect, but saying that it helps you is just rationalizing use which is just going to eventually make your moods unstable. It causes the depression that you think you need weed for, that's how addiction works. Also smoking weed just fills time where a person should be expanding their horizons. Learning new things, picking up new hobbies, etc. It dulls us out and makes us complacent, it also damages our creativity contrary to what most think. If moderation is possible for someone(not for me) there is no problem with it at all. Just be careful and try to look past the voice in or head telling us we need to alter our minds with drugs.
