Well here's the thing, I've wanted to do housekeeping since I was 4 (I practically grew up at the Embassy Suites), but what if I get hired on and I absolutely hate it or if the Hampton managers are awful and I regret choosing the housekeeping over the temp? Or what if I choose temp and I regret not going with the housekeeping and learn the trade I've always wanted to do?
If I go with housekeeping, I can learn to be an elite housekeeper and work for five-star hotels all around the world.
If I go with temp, I can develop skills that may put me in a better position farther down the road and maybe instead of being a housekeeper I can be a front-desk agent or a manager for a five star hotel and get paid better than a housekeeper and not have to do such laborious work.
But, in the end, I want to work for hotels. That's my dream job is to travel the world and work in the career-field of hospitality.
