I spray cleaning stuff all around things that the ants are getting onto. It kills those around it & messes with their scent trail. It keeps new one's off & the ants that are on there will want to get off fairly soon or kill them when they get to an open place on it.

Only thing about some of those ants is that they smell horrible when they are squished.

I found my whole little brown sugar bowl that has a tight rubber seal with ants all inside of it. I sat it in a bowl of water & the ants accumulated outside of it all in one place. I sprayed then with the cleaning solution which washed them into the container of water & that was the end of a huge number of ants but they seem to find more things to get into. This is a BAD year for ants.
