Situations like this are so difficult......we are caught between when we morally think we should do to make the people be held responsible for what they did....& what we feel we can do emotionally & for our own best interest in the future....caught between the rock & the hard spot.

Since it is totally up to the fireman, there is really nothing you could have done to force that information to be given. That is when you have to do what is best for you & be able to accept that as part of what has to be.

I am glad you were able to handle the situation & tell them how you needed to handle it. That has to be another step in the healing process that is necessary to deal with everything you have had to do through.

I support you doing what is necessary to take care of yourself as your #1 priority,
