I wonder if you can monitor your own meds while traveling in italy. i know many teens aged 15-17 that are able to travel with medication to other countries as long as the medication is in its original containers marked clearly who the medication is for, dosage and prescribing doctor. in fact when one of the churches here traveled to Italy\rome to see the pope there was many teens on all kinds of medications. they had no problems entering Italy's airports. and while there the teens on meds monitored their self (they took their meds on time and carried their own meds in their own luggage....and all that entailed taking care of their own medicine and medicinal needs) they started on the meds before leaving so that their own treatment providers could have follow up appointments before they left to make sure there was no problems with taking that medication.

my point maybe if you start your meds now it will calm things down a bit on the psychotic problems. and your doctors can have a follow up appointment for you before you have to leave. they can write out a schedule of when you need to take the meds and give you a statement to carry along with you while you are in italy showing medical \mental need for it. then you wont need anyone else to monitor your meds while in Italy, other than a teacher checking in with you to make sure you took the meds on time.
