I've had lucid dreams that felt like psychosis while asleep, like not like normal dreams or normal lucid dreams at all. At one point it got to where I couldn't tell for sure if i was awake or asleep, so i had to make up ways to test and figure it out. My strategy was to drink water, and if my mouth got wet i was awake, if it stayed dry i was asleep. Bizarre, but I actually had to do that. I was taking the quit smoking drug Champix (i think it's called Chantix in some countries). Very unsettling. I quit smoking though, so that was good.
