You can delete a post up to four hours after you write it: it's the "Edit" button (which goes away after four hours) and then "Delete", mark "Delete this messge" and click the "Delete" button. You don't have to fill out the reason, nobody will see that anyway. (I delete a lot of my posts very quickly so I know the proceedure quite well )
