I am so SORRY that you going thru this and I know what you are feeling for I have been there done that - I just know that family members can be so shallow at times.

In a case like this one I will have to say that YOU must give it TIME and allow for a lot of UNDERSTANDING, from both sides of the fence.
Work on getting your self better and in time you can work on fixing the broken relationship you have with your father and step-mother.
