I spent all my time thinking about which job should I choose, whether I'll even get a job, how am I going to pay my bills, when I realized as I was walking out the door that I didn't even plan out what I was going to say! I drove over there with butterflies in my stomach, thinking "This interview will determine my fate".
I was so nervous, I almost threw up this morning. I've never once been so nervous about a job interview, but with the clock ticking to be able to pay my bills on time, I was so scared I'll have to start the search all over again.
Well, believe it or not, this was the first interview that I WOW'ED my interviewer! Everything went so smoothly, I didn't stop to think or was stuck on any question, and this was the first time where I felt like we were having a natural conversation where both the interviewer was interviewing me and I was interviewing him which is something that doesn't so often happen but I believe absolutely needs to be done! I was so blown away with how he treats his workers like a team, pays for uniforms, serves breakfast for us workers each day plus coffee, and he even pitches in with anything and everything that needs the extra help, and he encourages us workers to do the same. I didn't feel like I had to fake or BS anything, and when he told me he was glad to have met with me, he said it so sincerely and genuinely like he was thrilled to be interviewing me.
He told me that he may call tomorrow but not to freak out if I don't hear from them by no later than Monday because the weekends are always the busiest.
But I think I got myself a FT job!
