Oy vey! We tore the front room carpet out yesterday. It came up quite easy since it was so old and rotten... but it sure wasn't nice what we found under it! Would you believe that the floor isn't even plywood? It's PRESSBOARD! The corner nearest the water heater is still totally soaked and the kid helping me tear out the carpet put his foot right through the floor. I can see the dirt under the mobile. Hope no critters come up through there! Once, I had a racoon running around bumping into the skirting under there. ECK!

I get to face off with the phone today, too, as I call licensed contractors to come give me an estimate on the repairs.
