If it was my doctor and I had a tank top on - he would not see my stomach. In looking at a couple of other posts, it seemed to be everyone else's opinion that recent evidence of SI would not be enough to get a doctor to try and involuntarily hospitalize anyone. Maybe just tell the doctor that you feel more comfortable keeping you tank top on if it comes to it. Good luck - take care.
