My husband slept 16 hours a day or more - when he started adderall he was able to balance out and sleeps right around 8 hours a day now. He isn't depressed, he has ADD. Are you sure your need for sleep is limited to Depression?
Also, have you ever tried any change of diet to eliminate chemicals in your system, become more cleansed so the body works more naturally? (Rhetorical - question is for you, not for me).
