I'm dx with bipolar 1 with psychosis.my Dr has tried the usual drugs,almost all antipsychtic ( I have been on geodon for 16 years and it just doesn't do anything anymore.I get terrible side effects with all the reg. Antipsychtic drugs.ambilfy. has been the most recent and that really messed me up.I also have high anxiety which I take Valium for but I do not sleep I'm lucky if I get 2 hours of sleep at night.. I
think he's gonna try latuda.next but from what I read and hear its mostly for depression and I'm very rarely depresseed.just manic I can go weeks with just 2 hours of sleep a nite. I don't think my dr. Knows what to do with me.he's very young and doesn't even remember what drugs he's tried on me. I'm in a rural area so not to many dr.s around any suggestions in what I can ask him to put me on.he is usually very good if I come up with something that he hasn't thought of (it was my idea on the ambilfy )I've lost relationships with my family. My husband isn't constantly on my case.which sends me into overdrive I'm just at a loss
