Is there still love and commitment after the age of 40?

What if you already have children and your tubes are tied?

I've been on dating sites in the last year or so, which feels like most men are there simply to "get lucky" & not to actually make an emotional connection. Am I making an accurate generalization? I don't know. But sites and bars feel pretty hopeless to me.

Btw, I'm 45.
