I live in the country with crappy reception even with AT&T. There are times I don't even get texts from people until 24 hours later so I can understand his not liking to text....but I could also be holding my phone when someone called & it wouldnt ring but go directly to VM. cell phones are wonderful but living in the country makes them a challenge.

I couldn't even get T-mobile where I live unless standing outside in my field. He makes sense if his country service is anything like mine
