As we say in my part of the world -- UFF DA. It doesn't really have a good translation -- roughly "oy vey" or "good grief," that sort of thing.

I am feeling mildly better today and wanted to thank everyone who hung out with me here yesterday during the single worst meltdown I've had in probably the last decade.

I haven't had the heart to go back and read those posts -- I'm really, really embarrassed and ashamed that it got to that point and everybody had to see me like that . If I were in the mood to learn something, I suppose it would be a lesson in "no matter how healthy you may think you are, the truth will kick you in the arse every time," but ending up in the state I ended up in is really humiliating. I just wanted to say thank you for caring and for helping someone who thought she'd moved relatively more into the "helper" role and at least somewhat out of the "helpee." Ginormous public meltdowns are really humbling.

I'm sorry I don't have the energy to reply to everyone individually, but wanted you to know it helped and I appreciate it.
