My friend has an awful history of domestic abuse. She was with her last partner for 8 years and they have children together.
She finally free'd herself from this relationship after many calls to the police and so much turmoil and heart ache.

She has since met a new partner and things seemed to be perfect for her.

Last weekend she told me they had a row on a train. He got off and she chased after him to stop him leaving and grabbed him so he would talk. He pushed her off and she fell, hit her head and was knocked out. She went to A&E and he was arrested as a witness called the police.

The police have said no contact for 2 weeks and he may end up in prison if found guilty. She said she hasn't filed any charges but the witness has.

I love her dearly and want to believe her but something just doesn't add up.

She won't have anyone over to see her and a friend of ours is worried she may have bruises that she's trying to hide.

She told me all of his via texting but didn't mention that it was an accident until a few hours later after she told me.

I'm worried at what could happen to all involved in this situation
