Was it occurring before you started taking anti-depressants ? I am pretty med free besides this blood pressure medication I have been taking for around 20 years. A couple of months ago I went to the doctor about this arthritic shoulder pain and he prescribed Gabapentin. I used to just take one about an hour before bed. A couple of weeks ago my wife said that I woke up a couple of times about an hour after I feel asleep and said things to her like I didn't know who she was. I guess it was sort of like sleep walking but I stayed in bed and can't recall any of it in the morning after she told me about it. I stop taking that med and haven't experienced anything like that since.
I have read before that when we dream we have an increased blood flow to our groin area. I also read before that dreams are a discharge of excess libido. Some people can be hypersexual and some people just the opposite.
Something to ponder.
Having sex with my wife helps both of our stress levels but then we are just a couple of Bonobos.
QUOTE=Rayofsunshine;5064605]Thankfully I don't go any further than masturbation as I find what I do to be uncomfortable and I am very ashamed of it, I have been to the doctors, a therapist and I am currently taking anti-depressents as my partner and I first put what I do down to me being stressed all the time!! To make matters worse my partner also believes I am wake when doing so which causes us to argue and me to me stressed and sometimes I can be anxious about going to sleep next to him when he is home
Thanks for replying guys xx
