Hi sophiesmom
I hope you
always come here on a bad day

.............although I know some days depression makes you not want to do/hear/feel anything...........
I don't know specifics you're talking about but I've got to agree with some parts of the site/some people don't truly get how
hard depression can really be sometimes.......but if they haven't had experience of it......although for some maybe they may have real good intentions, are seeing it as more "feeling down" and "not motivated" and trying some "tough love" in the aim of really wanting to support in the "long term"..........and all we can really do is say it as
it is, and ultimately if they don't "get it", they're entitled to their opinion........
as long as they aren't reportable/damaging opinions........and it's the one's who
truly "get it"
that matter...........that are actually
fully worth your time attending to.
Depression at times can be
more than hard enough without allowing your focus to drift to/stay with "unhelpful" responses.
So when things are hard, stick with the focus on those who do "get it", hey??

You can always "just" report damaging opinions............
And you know,
kudos on speaking your mind............there could be at least one person out there re-evaluating their view of depression right now.
